Consumerism, national identity and the public space are recurring themes in my work. Work that seeks the tension between engagement and its radical opposite: emptiness. It's activism or passiveness. Empathy versus apathy. Reacting to the current times that can be typified as a 'traveling without destination, eating without hunger, dancing without celebration'. To visualize the meaninglessness, and to express the accompanying sense of alienation I utilize different media. Ranging from computer generated prints to street art. Just anything that can communicate this message of alienation, this message of emptiness...
